Trophy Whitetail Deer Hunting in Texas

At Greystone Castle, we have everything to meet your needs. Each deer hunting package is tailored to meet individual wants and needs. Regardless of the package you choose, we promise you will have an unforgettable Texas whitetail hunting experience.

Our whitetail deer hunting program has been carefully managed over many years and is our pride and joy. Our breeding program takes place in the wild thanks to our intensive genetic supplementation, keen management, and predator control. Selective culling and manage management of age and class have produced amazing trophy whitetail deer that any hunter would be proud to have on their wall.

Trophy Whitetail Deer Hunts

We offer two different types of whitetail hunts: the gold medal hunt and the regular trophy hunt.

The gold medal program is an early-season special program at Greystone Castle. It was first introduced in 2014 and offers an all-inclusive rate based not on the score of the deer, but the date of the hunt. Gold Medal #1  is offered in October, the opening weekend of Texas deer season, while Gold Medal #2 is the next weekend. They are both 4-day, 3-night hunts including meals, lodging, guide fees, and trophy fees. Being the first hunts of the season, they offer hunters the best chance of harvesting a true monster buck, well over 200".

After the Gold Medal deer hunts, we offer trophy whitetail deer hunts based on size/class. These all-inclusive, fully guided whitetail hunts are totally customizable for your schedule and budget. Our experienced guides will sit with you in comfortable blinds and help you pick the trophy whitetail deer of your dreams!

After The Hunt

You will be dropped off back at the Castle by your guide. After getting your gun or bow safely stored in our gun room, they will take you to our pavilion where there will be appetizers and cocktails. Share your stories of the hunt around a roaring fire with the other guests, then enjoy dinner in our formal dining room or pavilion. A gourmet, 3-course meal featuring the freshest steak, duck, and seafood with a game of pool, a cigar at the firepit, or just enjoying the stars will make for a relaxing evening.

Plan to wake early and grab coffee, a breakfast wrap, and a selection of bagels and muffins in the continental breakfast room. Meet your guide in the courtyard and head out to your blind for you next Texas whitetail hunt.
